This program is for individuals who are referred to a substance abuse education program via court-order. The program has a rolling admission.

Weekly individual psychotherapy (7 sessions) with licensed psychotherapist plus

Mondays:

6:00 - 9:00 pm - Substance abuse education

Didactic program content is obtained from the Oakland County Health Division, Office of Substance Abuse and includes:

Stages of Change
Consciousness Raising (A Day in the Life)
Physiological Effects of Alcohol
Physiological Effects of Drugs
Personal Expectations
Expressions of Concern
Decisional Balance (Pros and Cons)
Relationships
Environmental Re-evaluation (Roles)

This program may or not be covered by your health insurance.  If we are successful in obtaining reimbursement, we will refund back your deposit less co-pays, deductibles and/or missed session/appointment fees.

The deposit below is for the group education component only.  There may be a separate fee required if you do not have mental health coverage via insurance.

 

Bring a mat and towel as you will be introduced to yoga - dress comfortably. Bring pen/pencil and paper or journal to take notes.

If you are new to our group, please download here the Yoga Workshops waiver, sign and date the waiver, and bring to your first class. You may also fax it to our office at 248-336-2879.
